Flying into San Pedro
Tropic Air and Maya Island Air use the in-town airstrip. It is not a long walk to some hotels and it is a miserable walk with bags in the heat to others. Send the flight number and landing time. A driver can wait in the small arrivals area. If the hop from Belize City is delayed (it happens), WhatsApp is how we slide the pickup.
Water taxi from Belize City or Caye Caulker
Name the ferry. Terminals are close and still easy to miss with a cart idling at the wrong ramp. Have someone on the boat send a message when you can see town. If you are coming from the international airport, budget the taxi or shuttle to the Belize City water taxi plus the boat — the cart cannot meet you on the mainland.
Hotel delivery
Best when you already have a night’s taxi arranged, or when you land after operators prefer not to sit at the strip. North-island resorts almost always want delivery. Give the property name, not just “north.”
